Motorola D-11 Landline
Motorola, a leader in mobile technology, seemed to have missed the bus in landlines. Its D-11 landline may have got warm reviews from certain sections, but it offers nothing new, than average landlines will offer.
You get a blue-light background, rubbery keypads and smart enough appearance. You are also given deft answering machine portfolio letting your record around 12 minutes of third party talk. You also get pager services and GAP compatibility. Still, these are available in normal landlines now and this landline may just score high on looks and sleekness.
You have caller id, color displays and storage facility of around 100 numbers. You can also text messages from this landline. Even the make is somewhat slippery due to a special plastic cover. However, your interface is pretty user friendly and at $68, is nothing to weep about. This phone has also taken green initiative by application of recycled materials in its making.
