Bose Portable SoundDock
Very few iPod speakers in the market can match Bose’s popularity in SoundDock. The Bose portable sounddock was introduced towards the end of 2004 at an unbelievable price of $299. This price seemed to shock all iPod owners. At that time, a relatively less number of iPod-specific speakers were available. Those available were sold at $150 or less.
Bose tactically gambled on contributing a greatly simplified, all-in-one audio solution with a neutral appearance, and the bet paid off. Despite the high price, SoundDock became a foremost international player in the market. Various rival companies were quite inspired. They were of the idea that they could further develop Bose’s formula. In spite of their efforts, majority of them failed.
Now Bose has introduced another new model of the Sounddock. The mew option is almost an identical but handy version of the older SoundDock. Thus, the new version has been titled SoundDock Portable. Its price is higher than the earlier version.
